This seller already listed this copy (or one very like it) closely followed by a slightly different one (again with a very distinct binding), if I recall correctly. Certainly unusual. BH

THE HOBBIT BY JR TOLKIEN DATED 1958 HARDBACK BOOK (ENDED: 24th September 2011) ...it was bought by this seller a few weeks back. BH
