Does anyone here own a copy of the Dora Owen book in a jacket?
I am interested to know which illustration appears on the upper cover.

One has the illustration from "The Ferlie" on Page 22 on the Upper Cover of the DJ.
The other has the illustration from "The Fairy Revel" on Page 62.

The Dora Owen book sold for GBP211.79 on Ebay recently. The book was very well represented in the listing, the seller really did a good job with that. As far as I could tell no dust jacket present.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/370576512039? ... 423.l2649#ht_25297wt_1396 On abebooks there is a copy for sale WITH a dust jacket for GBP490.95. http://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/Boo ... ook%2Bof%2BFairy%2BPoetry I'm not in anyway an expert on pricing but I've read that a dust jacket can represent up to 80% of a book's value. So either the Ebay book sold too high or the Abebooks listing is a bargain? (The third option being I suck at math).

The second --never heard of such a thing. I don't know if you suck at math(s). (It was, as you say, a pretty smart looking auction tho'.) BH
