I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering: what's the connection between the sword and the HoMe set? Does anyone here have the sword and want to trade for the set, or the other way around?

You can only hope for what? To be able to afford $7900 worth of old (I mean new...) trash?
(Apologies if you collect this stuff.) You know, with that kind of money you could afford a really old (1984) blank book, with a blank cover, with a small typed sticker that says something about The Hobbit on it... BH

But don't you realize that this set comes with Hadhafang, the sword of Arwen? Surely you all remember the stirring account in The Fellowship of the Ring of how Arwen held the point to Aragorn's throat?
And in case you were wondering, Hadhafang means "throng cleaver" (though I guess with Liz Tyler playing Arwen, "thong cleaver" might have been more apt). ![]()
