TCG Letter #1031

Writing to R.W. Chambers, Tolkien expresses his fears of the propaganda circling around the developing world situation.

Chambers had sent Tolkien a copy of Man’s Unconquerable Mind, a collection of his own essays and lectures. Tolkien remarks that there are two he has not yet read and is happy to have them on his shelves.
