G.B. Smith writes to Tolkien at Brocton Camp. He says it is a long time since he has heard from Tolkien. He also mentions, but cannot yet comment on a literary agent he has sent some of his poems to, the Authors’ Alliance in London. He mentions that he had a close call on April Fool's Day, when two bombs were dropped close by.
