TCG Letter #1342

Stanley Unwin writes to Tolkien asking of he could meet his son Rayner who is serving as a Cadet in the Navy at Oxford. He also encloses a cheque for £140 for Hobbit royalties.

Tolkien will mention this letter and cheque to his son Christopher a few days later.^{see [1]}
