Tolkien sends his poem 'Firiel'Later revised as the 'Last Ship' for the collection The Adventures of Tom Bombadil[1] to the Convents of the Sacred Heart (at Our Lady's School, Abingdon) to be published in their Chronicle of the Convents of the Sacred Heart.The poem was published on 25 March, 1934 in the Chronicle of the Convents of the Sacred Heart 4 (1934).[2]
