Mabel Day replies to Tolkien's two letters from January. She notes that she has sent the first to A.W. Pollard,^{Honorary Director of the EETS.[1]} and explains some of the policies of the EETS. She promises to send Tolkien a copy of the French manuscript for the Ancrene Riwle.
