TCG Letter #207

Following the publication of the third volume from Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, many readers' demands grew for an index or glossary that would help navigate the three volumes. Rayner Unwin entrusted editor and family friend Nancy Smith to the task. During that time she and J.R.R. Tolkien corresponded with each other to work out questions of that index.
