Tolkien writes to his grandson, and thanks him for sending him some pictures. He has drawn a map of the area and marked on water, roads, low land and where Tolkien and Priscilla are staying.
Tolkien also enclosed a coloured drawing of the view from Tolkien's window of the Bristol Channel, in front of mountains with a very small ship/boat on it. The weather looks very bad.
