Tolkien writes to Caroline HillierCaroline Hillier edited edited the first two volumes of Winter Tales for Children that included his poem The Dragon's Visit.[1] He explains about the poems' connection to his series of poems set in the imagined town Bimble Bay. A revised version of the poem was included in October 1965 in the first volume.
