TCG Letter #2637

In reply to Letter from J.R.R. Tolkien to Academic Registrar of the University of London • 10 April 1948 (#2636), the Academic Registrar of the University of London replies to Tolkien’s question about the university's policy about retirement age. He also remarks on the vacant Chair of Education at the Institute of Education, stating that five candidates have been invited to attend interviews with the Board of Advisors at Senate House on 20 April.
