T.K. Penniman, curator of Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford, writes to Professor Braunholtz. He asks for support of the Committee of Comparative Philology in regard to the Honour School of Anthropology.
Before the 9th December, Tolkien, Braunholtz and C.L. Wrenn will be appointed by the Committee to meet with a committee from the Honour School.
