To
Rayner Unwin
Date
22 June 1952

Rayner Unwin had written to Tolkien about 'Errantry' and this gave Tolkien an opportunity to see if he could get The Lord of the Rings published by George Allen & Unwin after any deal with Collins had fallen through.

Tolkien sent his revised version of 'Errantry' with this letter and talked about the history of the poem.

Partially reproduced (mostly obscured) in the George Allen & Unwin catalogue, July-December 1981.
