Tolkien discusses a letter from Halsbury expressing admiration for the Silmarillion material and anticipation for its publication. Tolkien mentions a letter from Dr. Åke Ohlmarks and expresses dissatisfaction with Dr. Ohlmark's Swedish translation. He expresses the need for an "index of names" to help in dealing with future translations and corrections.
