Up for bid is this 10th printing UK example of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. First published in 1937, this book set the stage for fantasy writing, and is still very influential today. Followed by the Lord of the Rings which has enchanted many million throughout the years since its publication. This example of The Hobbit is in very clean condition with the exception of 3 initials on one page. The covers are bright and clean. The spine has some sunning but is still very nice. The pages are bright and crisp. The color frontispiece is beautiful. Please examine the pictures carefully and ask any questions you might have. I have been a collector of Tolkien's works for many years and have a personal collection of several hundred books. I am letting this one go to make room for other acquisitions.
