An excellent example, preserved in its original tissue wrapping and housed in the original presentation box (both shown in photographs). The tissue has naturally become fragile with age, as is typical. There is a small scuff mark on the box, as pictured.

The book itself is unread and has never been fully opened. For photography, the volume was only gently held open without placing stress on the spine, which is why the internal images are not shown fully flat.

A faint mark is present on the front free endpaper where the tissue has rested over time (see photograph).

Aside from this minor age-related mark, the book presents in exceptional condition and remains as close to “new” as one could reasonably expect for a copy of this kind.
