This book is comprised of Tolkien’s text and translation of the Old English poem Exodus. They are accompanied by a commentary that has been produced by editing his notes for a series of informal lectures given in the 1930s and 1940s, and retouched in the 1950s. Edited by Joan Turville Petre. 1st Printing: January 28, 1982 – limited to 3,000 copies. Although dated 1981, the book was actually published in January 1982. Not reprinted. Copies sold in the U.S. were all price-clipped. I purchased this copy in the U.S., which explains the price clip on the DJ. This book comes from a smoke-free home; I am the original owner. Free shipping to contiguous US addresses only, all others inquire for actual shipping charge.
