A very good set. Some wear to gilt titles. Boards are generally clean bar The Two Towers which has a number of small marks, light wrinkling of cloth & usual mild lightening to spine. Notable rubbing to gilt on textblock edges. Internally clean and crisp with no inscriptions. Maps neat and unfolded at rear. The slipcase is in very good condition with light wear; one light bump to corner - none of the usual splitting. Overall a very good set of the rarest edition of any of the Lord of the Rings sets.
