A rare and long out-of-print slipcased hardcover version of the Lord of the Rings Millennium Edition Box Set, one of the very few LotR releases in this format.

Making this rare set even more special is the original CD (minus original case and George Sayer liner notes), often missing from secondhand copies, featuring J.R.R. Tolkien's own readings of selected Lord of the Ring passages.
Condition: This is clearly a "pre-loved" book that would not be mistaken for new, with both box and books showing scruff marks (visible under certain lighting) and signs of wear. I have endeavoured to capture these imperfections as accurately and honestly as possible in the photos; please review every image for full peace of mind before purchasing. However, it remains a gorgeous volume, and an eye-popping trophy for any Tolkien lover's shelf. The CD is unplayed and in excellent condition.
