The PICTURES in the listing are of the ACTUAL ITEM you will RECEIVE.  They are NOT stock photos.

You are bidding on a lot containing One Book.  The Book is a Very Good Hardcover in an Original dust jacket, 1963, 13th printing, US edition of The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien.

Published by Houghton Mifflin in 1938,  This is a 13th Printing 1963 with the broken “d” in “and” line 3, page 181.  This point is the determining factor that this is a 13th printing.  The publisher, in order to avoid taxes did not put this information on the copyright page.

The dust Jacket is a 14th printing as stated on the DJ front flap.  This was a common practice by the publisher once 13th printing dust jackets were used up and there were earlier books still available.  Please see the 4th picture to determine 14th printing of the dj.

So this is a 13th printing hardcover book in a 14th printing of the Dust Jacket.

Hardcover Book is in Very Good condition with some very light edge wear and some light edge foxing.   No writing tears etc...........   The DJ is in Good + condition with some edge wear and small chips as shown.  A nice copy with the DJ now protected in Mylar.

All my orders are securely packaged in a box for added protection.

Buyer to pay $5.00 for postage in the US. $25 for Canada and $30 for the rest of the world.   Please pay by Paypal or make other arrangements with me.   Please check out my other auctions and save on postage with multiple wins.  Thanks for looking and Good luck, Gary
