BERKELEY BARB UNDERGROUND NEWSPAPER v. 5 #21~Nov. 24, 1967, IN VERY NICE CONDITION, Color cover art by Kouninos of the Lord of the Rings wizard Gandalf! The back cover is also in color with lots of art; its a promo ad for the new Country Joe lp. There's also a full page (b&w) record ad for Alice's Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie. Inside, news on student dissent, hippies, anti war marches, police brutality, and the death of Che Guevara. Plus, an interview look into the wild mind of activist Jerry Rubin. And a two page plus look at Marijuana, with several different features on smoking grass, (and the drug laws) plus Confessions of a Middle-Aged Pot Smoker. Concert ads: two Avalon ads, one for Flatts & Scruggs with the Lewis & Clark Expedition (4 1/2 x 6"), and one for Big Brother and the Holding Company with Mt. Rushmore. Also, The New Orleans House has a bunch of different shows, with the Youngbloods, the Ace of Cups, Congress of Wonders and Hair (with Darby Slick) 4 x 4". Also, Judy Collins is playing the Berkeley Community Theater (2 1/2 x 4") 16 page tabloid, in very nice condition with a strong half fold from being stored folded.
