This book has been clearly loved & well used by a Tolkien lover & there is writing notes on various pages throughout the book. There are discoloration browning marks/spots in various areas in the book as well as the textblock area which appears to have a very worn look to it, although may in part be the 'original' look. The binding is in good shape.
