A beautiful set in later Full dark black morocco Fine Leather bindings
with the gilt "Ring & Eye" design stamped to all six covers of the 3
volumes. Also has inter -twined "J.R.R.T." initials in the bottom
compartments of the spine. The Binding is exquisite with gilt borders
and 5 raised bands & two red gilt lettered morocco labels in the 2nd &
4th compartments. The amazing quality of the binding is in the style of
Sangorski & Sutcliffe in Fine condition. An extraordinary set of first
editions later impressions of this classic of fantasy literature. All
original maps are present and in Fine condition.

rare book set in full black morocco Fine Leather bindings, gilt ruled covers with the gilt "Ring & Eye of Sauron" design stamped on to both covers, gilt decorated spine with 5 raised bands & two red gilt lettered morocco labels in the 2nd & 4th compartments, with inter-twined "J.R.R.T." initials in the bottom compartment, bindings in fine condition, pages are unusually clean &
bright (See Scans below), the bindings are tight & intact. The leather
is smooth & supple to the touch.
