A First Edition copy of The Road to Middle-Earth by T.A. Shippey, a leading academic expert on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. 

Please refer closely to the attached pictures for condition. The copy includes the dust-jacket. The spine of the jacket has been been significantly sunned, although the title, author and publisher remain visible. The jacket has some shelf wear including bumps to the edges and corners, plus some scratches/marks to the covers. A Harper Collins price tag has been placed on the front flap of the jacket. There is some minimal foxing/spotting to the edges of the text block.

The binding of the book remains strong. Internally, the book has no inscriptions and is clean.
