This is a 1957 hardback edition of JRR Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings", 1st edition. Please see below for specific information on each book. The books are joined by a part of an original dust jacket and an order form for other Tolkien books. There is faint handwriting on both the order form and the dust jacket. The second part of the set - "The Two Towers" is inscribed with a personal note dated 24 January 1957.
