Original publisher's red boards with gilt ring vignette & titles. Red topedge as issued. There is edgewear to extremities, head & foot of spine with some light nicks. Internally complete with occasional handling mark. No inscriptions. Folded map at rear still folded tight.
The original first edition, tenth impression dustwrapper (as stated at foot of front flap) is present. It is has light chipping at head & tail of spine with rubbing at joints and old archival tape to joints on reverse. Usual toning to spine. Original price of 25snet to front flap. It has been loosely placed in white backed archival protector for its preservation.
