Up for sale is a true UK First Edition, First Printing of J.R.R. Tolkien's "Unfinished Tales", published posthumously in 1980 by George Allen & Unwin.
**Condition Details:**
NOTE MAP IS EXCELLENT CONDITION AND DETACHED
- **Dust Jacket:** Original jacket designed by Tolkien featuring the Numenorean helmet. Vibrant colours with minimal shelf wear. Spine is clean with no severe sun fading.
- **Binding & Pages:** Hardcover cloth is clean with sharp gilt lettering on the spine. Pages are crisp and clean with no writing or ownership inscriptions inside.
- **Maps:** Includes the smaller printed internal map. The iconic large fold-out map of "The West of Middle-earth" is included and in EXCELLENT, crisp condition with no tears or splits along the creases. Please note: The fold-out map has become completely detached from the rear pasting glue strip, but remains safely preserved loose inside.
