A wonderful set presented in black titled slip cases. selling at average of £100 per book plus £50 each slipcase. Book fine wrapper near fine with very slight fading to spine and one mark, hard to even see on the photographs. The wrapper has no rips and is not clipped. It has a wonderful Unwin Hyman price sticker of £17.95 over the printed price of £16.95. I have not seen this before. 6. The Return of The Shadow. 1st printing by Unwin Hyman. So here we have a wonderful set of 1st ever printings, hardbacks of all 12 volumes, all with 1st issue points, none price clipped and just minimal ageing, I would describe as all fine or very near fine, bright and clean wrappers, no foxing, no offsetting and clearly unread. Presented in 3 Black Buckram slipcases with gilt titles as in the pictures. All have mylar wrapper protectors, they look stunning. Collected on release between 1983 and 1996. Book 12 The People of Middle Earh is scarce and can cost £600 alone. Others vary but its wonderful to have a uniform set for the collector.
