This is a fairly matched set of two 4th Impressions and a 3rd impression of the RARE 2nd UK hardback edition published by George Allen & Unwin in 1969/68
A Very Good or better set that presents well
with some light bumping to head and foot.
Some minor marks to page edges.
Red topstains.
Clean crisp original maps in the rear.
Small neat gift inscription to vol. I - obscured by front flap.
Jackets are a little grubby, with the occasion mark and stain.
Some creasing, minor loss and some nicks and tears.
This is used set with visible wear, still in solid presentable condition.
Vol. I is price clipped.
Vol. III with some bleeding/staining to verso.
