A rare, private publication produced around 1970 as a student project by O'Donnell, at the Edinburgh College of Art.
Description: A small, wire-stitched booklet consisting of two card bifolia (four pages total). A few small marks to covers. The text is an excerpt from J.R.R. Tolkien's works, specifically focusing on Gandalf's (Mithrandir's) history, which O'Donnell handset in type and illustrated with his own original artwork. Only a handful of copies were ever made, it is now considered a highly sought-after "Tolkien ghost" item.

Description: Hardback binding with green title to spine. Very slight discolouring to binding. Colour illustrated dust jacket with some slight discolouring also. Neat repairs to verso of dust jacket, a few small scuffs to edges. Pages are complete, heavily illustrated in colour and black and white. Light marginal age toning, otherwise pages are generally very clean as shown.
Size: largest 27.5cm by 21cm, smallest 20.6cm by 14.7cm
