Nice finds, looking for some of them myself.
Love the small black 'cat-zgul' sniffing for new arrivals.
You raised him (her?) well !!
She may well be the fiercest cat in the whole of Arda. Her middle name is Khamûl

Today's arrival. A duplicate (I already have an as-new copy that I bought years ago), but this was only 50 NZD locally (£21.50) and is in NF condition other than the faded jacket spine, so I felt I couldn't pass it up. I feel like I don't see these come along terribly often.

The recent (2025) new Icelandic edition of the Hobbit (new Translation by Solveig Sif Hreiðarsdóttir). Not sure how many copies printed, but is currently OOP. I know the average print-run (across the board) for Iceland is about 1,000 copies of any given title.
Edit: Solveig has confirmed to me that there will indeed be a reprint, so if anyone missed a copy, it should come back into stock at some point.

Thanks to LanceFormation, who was wonderful to deal with, I now have a 1937 second impression Hobbit (at a very reasonable price for current times). I'll have to live with the fact that I can't afford one with a real jacket, but we all make compromises!

Excellent addition to the library Stu! The facsimile jacket looks great as well.
Yeah, it sets it off nicely. Lance provided a perfectly good Mark Terry one (Edit: sorry, originally wrote David Miller for no other reason than my brain being old and useless), but those have some annoying - to me - errors (the dragon on the back has black lines around it, for example, and the flap text is way too thick and black)
