Interesting, I suppose as is still in shrink, and some people like that.
Note that I wouldn't personally buy one of these in shrink, because they absolutely need to be stored flat, not vertical as the glue that Clays used for the traycase is a cleat elastomeric adhesive, and over time the weight of the book will cause the centre part of the tray to migrate out and down. I had to fix my shelved copy (I de-bonded the inner tray and re-glued it using bookbinders PVA). It isn't a hard fix (and is permanent -- will never happen again), but I' be less comfortable doing it on a copy that cost £2000 then £200, just because removing the trays is challenging as the existing adhesive is still strong and will hold the trays very firmly in the wrong place.

The DJ is a 16th, but the book's Copyright page indicates a 17th. Had the Seller message it to me. Just don't want anyone to be disappointed. Either way, early 3rd Edition.Mr. Underhill wrote:

How are you determining the Dust-jacket is a 16th, other than seller description?

Yes, as Trotter says, you’re basing that on what?
It is a 17th jacket. The 17th has the front flap cropped about 5mm closer to the price than the 16th (they are otherwise identical).
