I think you were lucky the order was cancelled. A destroyed 1946 Hobbit - just my humble opinion....

I agree - I think a bullet was dodged here. An early Hobbit is not improved at all by that kind of sketching. I'm also unsurprised by the particular seller that is trying to flip this. I doubt anyone will be interested in it at anything close to that price.
