Protector Box

One year ago, I bought a laser cutting and engraving machine. A few days ago, it occurred to me to use it to make my own protector box. Here, I'll show you some photos.

In one of the larger boxes, I've engraved the entire map of Beleriand.

That is a very cool idea. Looks quite a fun project.

I do wonder though, whether the environment inside is suited to older valuable books? Does it have sufficient air flow to not change the environment to something too dry?

I agree that these do look very interesting and fun to make, but books do need to "breathe" so I would make sure that they are not airtight.

The top cover is not glued and some air can enter.
