Who else here is going to Loughborough for The Return of the Ring? We will be there from Thursday evening until Monday morning.

Hadn't really given this one any thought; & no holidays to speak of left this year.

Have a good time guys!

Is anyone who is going willing to proxy bid for me on some things in the auction?

Jeremy, I believe commission bids are available. I will be going to RotR, and to the auction; but I can't guarantee to stay to the end.

Yes, I am aware of their commission bid system, but I am leery (in general of absentee bid systems, but also due to one of the terms for this particular auction for hidden reserves). Thus wanting someone on the ground - possibly even on the phone with me for live bidding.

Anything in particular of interest in the auction?

Well, for me (and I am probably shooting myself in the foot here)...

Single digit numbered Mallorns and Amon Hen #1 (under it's original name Henneth Annûn)...

Plus some other fun fanzines that are not critical for me to get but would be fun.

Shh! Don't tell everyone!

Although the main factor preventing me from buying much will be my current course of dental treatment, which is going to cost me LOTS.
