In this long letter, Tolkien mentions derivations of "convent" and "Coventry".

Published in The Catholic Herald, 23 February 1945,Marquette archives has a complete transcript of this letter although they eroneously date it as 25 February, 1945. [1] and extracts from it also appeared in The Catholic Herald, 18 September 1981.Carl F. Hostetter notes on the transcript 'I see that it has at least one error, giving the surname of Eilert Ekwall as "Ekwell"'[2]
