Rayner Unwin is quite happy with the different method of payment but is re-sending the cheque for £150 that Pauline Baynes returned to him.
He outlines new method of payment at 2½% royalty on net receipts on all copies sold at more than cost, ‘and on account of this royalty and of all monies earned from the sale and exploitation of your original artwork’ are paying £150. He hopes that this royalty will be ‘an abiding source of income’.
