Wiseman writes to Tolkien to say that all four members of the T.C.B.S. can be in Lichfield, now described as the 'Council of Lichfield', on 25 September. He asks if Tolkien could find them three beds for the night and suggests they have lunch at Rob Gilson's home in Marston Green.See Letter from Rob Gilson to J.R.R. The 'Council of Lichfield' takes place over 25-25 September and will be the last time all four members will be together, and is the last time Tolkien sees Rob Gilson before he is killed in action fighting in World War I. He will be killed on 1 July 1916, he was 23 years old.
