TCG Letter #1791

Alina Dadlez (GA&U) sends Mario Ubaldini (Casa Editrice Astrolabio) a countersigned copy of the contract for the Italian translation of the Lord of the Rings, noting they have received their signed part. She says that another packet, with reviews and articles from England and America will be sent and mentions a forthcoming article on Tolkien in the Daily Telegraph Supplement. She further suggests that photographs for promotional purposes be obtained through Pamela Chandler. GA&U have no specific advice on launching the books but believe that the book will do just fine in Italy. Dadlez also says that in a few days she will send the illustration from Pauline Baynes used for GA&U's boxed set should it be useful for promotional purposes.
