Writing to Tolkiem, Simonne d'Ardenne asking how his recovery is coming along after his injury.

She will update him on her viva once she knows a date and notes that a copy of Seinte IulieneThe Seinte Iuliene will be regarded by Tolkien's colleagues, and by d'Ardenne herself as a joint work by Tolkien and herself.[1]

has been sent to him. She regrets the demands of the publishers, which means any returns to herself and Tokien are reduced.

This letter is held at the Tolkien Papers, Bodleian Library, Oxford.
