Simonne d'Ardenne writes to Tolkien to say that once she has finished her latest article, on the Brussels Cross, she will send it on to him to read.

She includes three versions of Seinte Katerine, noting the illuminated capitals and wonders if the printer could make these larger. The included versions include rough notes. She sends her wishes for success in his forthcoming British Academy Lecture.This lecture, delivered on 25 November 1936, refers of course to Tolkien's 'Beowulf: The Monsters and the critics'.[1]
