G.E.K. Braunholtz,^{Braunholtz was a member of the Phological Society at Oxford[1]} a colleague from Oxford writes to Tolkien. He has read the positive review in The Times and quotes from it in his letter.^{Stanley Unwin had also read the review, and writes to Tolkien on it the following day.
