Hugh Brogan's mother, Olwen, writes to Tolkien on the matter of him visiting them in Cambridge. She says he is very welcome and suggests the 20th (Sunday) for tea. Tolkien will visit on that Sunday and several years later in a letter from Hugh, it is mentioned that Tolkien fell down their stairs while visiting.Hammond/Scull, Chronology, p. 368[1]
