TCG Letter #2314

Noted in Descriptive Bibliography, and published in the Sunday Telegraph, 9 September 1973, J.R.R. Tolkien writes to his son Michael remarking that Michael is the one of the few people who really understands what The Lord of the Rings is about. An excerpt from the letter were reproduced in his article 'J.R.R. Tolkien - The Wizard Father' and it was reprinted later in Mythprint 11, no. 1 (January 1975), pp. 3-4.
