Stanley Unwin sends Tolkien printed specimen pages from Farmer Giles of Ham. He also asks if they should remove Milein Cosman from the project, as she is still to provide a sample drawing. He reminds Tolkien that he had promised to send along another batch of pages from The Lord of the Rings.
