Katharine Farrer writes to Tolkien. She and her husband are both delighted, and excited, to hear that Tolkien will publish The Silmarillion. She asks about the origins of the name Pantucker and forwards a fan letter^{This letter has for now not been entered into the guide as we do not have any firm date for it.[1]} about The Hobbit from Oxford professor of religion L.W. Grensted.
