GA&U send Tolkien ten copies of the new US edition of Farmer Giles of Ham, published by Houghton Mifflin Company.
Notes
Earlier, Tolkien was sent twelve copies, see Letter from Jean Poindexter Colby to J.R.R. Tolkien • 15 September 1950 (#2801). Hammond and Scull remarked that they do not know if these ten were on top of the twelve or part of that. We have no further information on this presently.
