Fifty New Poems For Children – An Anthology Selected From Books Recently Published By Basil Blackwell. Oxford: Basil Blackwell, 1929. 3rd Edition. Hardcover, 63pp. No Dust Jacket, as issued. Hard to find volume. A selection of poems from books published by Basil Blackwell, of poems by Robert Graves, Eleanor Farjeon, Edith Sitwell, Guy Boas, Edith King and others and includes "Goblin Feet" by J.R.R. Tolkein (Tolkien's name is spelt incorrectly). Book is in Very Good condition. Dark grey paper covered boards, picture inlay to front cover, depicting a child holding out her pinafore to catch apples thrown down to her by a goblin in an apple tree. Slim volume. Some foxing and spotting to covers and interior, bookplate on front endpaper, corners hardly bumped, no chipping or wear to spine and spine label intact. No writing or inscriptions in side, aside from the bookplate already mentioned. I have other Tolkien and C.S. Lewis related books listed for sale and will happily combine on shipping. Media Mail or Priority Mail, whichever the buyer prefers. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thank you.
