Condition: See description
The Fellowship of the Ring: - 1962 12th impression – in good condition; no missing pages or owners inscriptions. The spine is still solid and intact, with a slight lean and a small rip along the bottom. The book includes the original map, but there is a slight tear to the side of the map, which is clearly visible in the photo. The Two Towers: 1962 9th impression: in good condition; no missing pages or owners inscriptions. The spine is even better on this book and shows no sign of lean or wear. There is a slight red mark on the first page, which I assume is caused by the red dye from the covers. Again, the map is in good condition (as seen in the photo), but there is a small tear in the same location as on the Fellowship. The Return of The King: 1962 9th impression 1962: in good condition; no missing pages or owners inscriptions. The spine is in good condition, only very slightly loose at the top. No marks on the pages. The map is in near perfect condition, excepting a tiny tear to one side, again in the same location as the others, but smaller. Unfortunately the books do not include the original dustjackets, however the original cover is included, which is also visible in the photo. This has some damage to the top where the seams meet on one side and it also has a pencil mark on the front where some bookseller (I assume) has written what looks like a date, although it is not clearly visible. ********************************************** The set itself needs no introduction and it has been in my possession for quite some time. Despite the fact that I would love to keep them, I am merely a lowly student and cannot afford such luxuries, therefore I am putting them up for sale on here. Therefore, seeing as I am no book expert feel free to PM me if you want me to look at the books further or take more photos for you.Delivery cost is £13.19, this being based on the prices provided by Parcelforce 24 for this size package. Alternatively, if preferred I can send the package by royal mail (1st class signed for) at a cost of £16.95. Thanks again.
